I am a human-centered AI (HCAI) researcher and builder, currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at KAIST (InnoCORE Fellowship, PRISM-AI Research Group). Working with Dr. Yongjin Yoon at the Just Do It Lab (JDL), Department of Mechanical Engineering, KAIST, I explore and help establish a new paradigm of industrial AI transformation (AX). My research has focused on seamlessly enabling digital content creation and retrieval in everyday life through multimodal human-AI interactions. My recent work goes further, turning emerging technologies into real-world systems: deciding what to build, structuring it into scalable systems, and bringing it into practice.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science (HCI) from the National University of Singapore under Dr. Shengdong Zhao, and my M.Sc. and B.Sc. from Korea University under Dr. Jerald Jeonghyeon Kim. Before my Ph.D., I was a senior software engineer at LG Electronics and COWON Systems, building the first Android- and webOS-based smart TVs and handheld multimedia devices.

Alongside research, I build ventures. After co-founding ROSAIC, a generative-AI manufacturing startup that achieved a successful exit, I am now co-founder and R&D Director of KEONIX Labs, a KAIST-affiliated startup, turning technology into impactful products and sustainable businesses.
